Life Coach 5 will provide training to participants in specialized classes, community involvement activities, volunteer activities, and socialization and interaction skills. Develop curricular materials, schedules, and new community activities.

High school diploma and two years experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred; demonstrated competency in basic teaching skills, behavior management, active listening, curriculum development, task analysis, person-centered planning, and advocacy.  Demonstrate excellence in interpersonal skills, building constructive and effective relationships with community members, using diplomacy and tact, relating well to all kinds of people inside and outside the organization and problem solving. Must obtain and maintain Medication Certification and First Aid Certification. Valid NYS Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
