Residential Direct Support Professionals

Residential staff teach and support residents to become as independent as possible in their living environment, providing support as needed with budgeting, financial, medical and other individual needs. Staff also support residents in making good choices, becoming good citizens and meaningful members of their community while offering meticulous attention to each person in line with their desires. 

Current positions available include: 

• Full time with benefits:   Thursday, Friday, Saturday shift (includes 2 overnights); Delhi
• Full time with benefits:  Senior level position;  Sunday, Monday, Tuesday shift (includes 2 overnights); Delhi
• Full time Position – 40 hours, with benefits:  Sunday through Thursday; Walton
• Temporary Position through 11/11/09 – 40 hours, no benefits:  Monday through Friday, awake overnight; Hamden

Qualifications:  High School Diploma and one year experience in service delivery to MR/DD population or other equivalent experience.  Valid New York State Drivers License is required with an acceptable driving record.
